If Bella Hadid wears something, people on TikTok will want to buy it—and the 27-year-old super model has already been seen wearing the Coach Brooklyn Shoulder Bag twice in two months.
Bella Hadid was first seen sporting a black version of the Brooklyn bag in July, pairing the slouchy, oversized tote with a white cropped blouse, skinny capri pants, and kitten-heeled sandals. On August 22, Bella Hadid further committed to the Brooklyn bag agenda, styling the newly-released suede Brooklyn bag with a pair of cutoff shorts, red tie-front top, and black cowboy boots.
The Brooklyn has taken over BagTok—and for good reason. Oversized silhouettes are two huge trends going into Fall 2024, and the Coach Brooklyn bag offers the same effortless, minimally branded appeal of The Row’s leather hobo bag with a much more attainable price point of $495.
Not only does the Brooklyn bag come in multiple colors and a seasonless tawny suede—but it’s also available in two smaller sizes for those looking for something less ludicrously capacious than the Brooklyn 39. Plus, with the edition of a simple brass link, it’s easy to dress up with a String Ting bag charm if you’re looking to channel Gigi Hadid as well.
Of course, the Brooklyn bag isn’t the only mid-range luxury option for those looking to embrace the boho aesthetic this fall (or simply be able to carry your 15 inch laptop, Owala water bottle, and an office blanket in one bag). St. Agni’s $405 Oversized Nubuck Satchel—as seen on Jennifer Lawrence in June—is a great option for even more drama, while Mango’s studded leather bag retails for $299 also comes in a gorgeous brown suede. Personally, I’ve also found myself drawn to Madewell’s crescent-shaped offerings—particularly the Essential Curve Shoulder Bag in soft mahogany ($198).
Frankly, I’d be happy to perpetually lose my keys at the bottom of any one of these bags. Someone take my credit card away from me before I really do some damage.
