ASAP Bari on Footage of Miami Altercation: ‘Get Y’all Fac…

ASAP Bari has responded to footage making the rounds on social media showing an apparent altercation in the Miami area over the weekend.

It’s not currently known what, exactly, transpired leading up to the fight seen in a minute-long video that’s believed to have been captured outside the Faena Hotel. Fists are seen flying among a group of individuals, allegedly including Bari, before the altercation spills out into the street. At one point, someone—seemingly the person filming—is heard saying, “He got beat on, damn.”

As the video started circulating on social media, Bari himself offered a reaction by way of a comment left on this Instagram post from @staygroundeadcom.

“Lol. … funny thing is those my ppl beating up the goofy holding me,” Bari wrote. “Get y’all facts straight.”

Bari has made similarly focused headlines in the past, including in 2023 when he disputed JT’s account of an incident involving her and Lil Uzi Vert. That same year, the VLONE co-founder also spoke out amid chatter over an altercation involving someone who allegedly stole a chain from him.

In 2019, it was reported that Bari had admitted to a count of sexual assault in connection with a 2017 incident at a Shoreditch-area hotel.

By 2022, VLONE had announced its separation from Bari, with reps writing in a statement shared to Instagram at the time that the brand would “not partake in any irrational behavior associated or related with Jabari ‘Younglord’ Shelton [ASAP Bari].”

The statement also asserted that Bari “has no authority to style himself as ‘Mr. Vlone’” or “use or license VLONE,” arguing that his behavior “is contrary to our collective.”
