Ashley had no problem with Tyler being a sperm donor, she says. The problem was that he never mentioned it before now, even when they talked about having kids, she says, “every day.”
It was such a big lie of omission, she says, that it made her wonder if she could trust him at all. “Once you’re not given the full picture of something, it’s hard to not question everything,” she tells him.
In response, Tyler apologizes and says he would do anything he could to earn back her trust.
But she has good reason to be concerned: On October 19, Bri Thomas—the woman who had the children via Tyler’s sperm—shared her side of the story on Instagram. She confirmed Tyler was “not supposed to assume a father role” in her eldest child’s life but stepped in after her ex-wife left. They began coparenting, which complicated their relationship, and the two conceived their twins through “natural, unplanned intercourse.”
“He signed the birth certificate,” she said. “Again, there has never been any confusion or additional context surrounding the twins’ origin.”

Did they get married on the show?
They did! During their vows, they both said, “I do.” “Love is blind,” Tyler said after the ceremony. “Love is blind for me, I’ll say it again. I have my person and my best friend.”
However, it seems Ashley didn’t have the full story about Tyler when they married.
Are they still together?
Ashley and Tyler are no more. On January 21, 2025, Ashley confirmed that the couple had split after a little over a year of marriage.
“After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” Ashley said in a statement to People. “While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.”
She added that their breakup was “not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace.”
“While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support,” she concluded.
Tyler has not yet commented on the breakup.
