Angel Reese is bringing her success back home—to the gym where her basketball journey first took shape.
For the 2025–26 high school season, Reese, alongside Reebok and the Angel C. Reese Foundation, is stepping in to support the girls’ basketball team at Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore.
According to WWD, the partnership is designed to provide tangible support to the program while spotlighting the importance of investing early in young female athletes.
Through the collaboration, Saint Frances’ Panthers will compete in Angel Reese 1 sneakers, along with custom-designed Reebok uniforms and warm-ups explicitly created for the team.
The shoe, Reese’s debut signature model with Reebok, officially arrived in stores earlier this fall following months of anticipation. Since its release, multiple colorways have been introduced, including versions that reflect Reese’s personal story and hometown roots.
Reese’s involvement reaches beyond outfitting the team. During the season, she is set to host an on-court session with the Panthers focused on training, preparation, and long-term athlete development. The goal is to give players access to insight and experience from someone who has navigated every level of the sport—from high school standout to WNBA star.
The foundation behind the partnership reflects Reese’s broader priorities off the court. Established in 2023, the Angel C. Reese Foundation centers on creating opportunities for girls and women through sports, education, and financial empowerment.
“Saint Frances played a huge role in my development, not just as a player, but as a person,” Reese said in a statement, emphasizing that the partnership is about giving young athletes tools to believe in their potential and push forward with confidence.
Saint Frances Academy girls’ basketball head coach Nytearia Burrell also spoke to the significance of the collaboration, noting the impact of having a former student-athlete return with industry backing and hands-on involvement. According to Burrell, the partnership adds both credibility and inspiration to the program as the season begins.
The official launch of the initiative coincides with the Panthers’ season opener, marking the start of what both sides hope will be an ongoing relationship.
