Aimé Leon Dore is getting into the record business, with a little help from Technics: the high-end streetwear brand is joining forces with the Japanese audio company to create a limited edition turntable.
ALD revealed the partnership with a press release on Wednesday (March 18). The brand said that its reason for the collaboration was to “celebrate the enduring ritual of analog sound and the culture that surrounds it.”
The collab resulted in the SL-1200M7ALD Turntable that comes in ALD’s famous Mulberry Green colorway (which they’ve used before on all sorts of objects, including shoes and even a car), along with bespoke detailing and a co-branded slipmat.
To get your hands on it, you’ll have to purchase it directly from ALD, and it’s only available with US shipping.
“I still buy records today, and I still have Technics turntables in my house, my office, and in our stores,” said ALD founder and creative director Teddy Santis in a statement, according to DJ Mag. “Beyond the emotional connection, I’m in love with the object itself.”
This exclusive SL-1200M7ALD came out on Mar. 19 at 11 am ET. Along with its release, there’s an accompanying capsule collection. You can get the turntable here, for $2,100. The capsule collection, which includes t-shirts, soccer jerseys, crewnecks, hats, lanyards, and even a $1,500 gold pendant, is here.
For even more ALD, make sure to check out their Spring/Summer 2026 collection, which includes an elevation of the brand’s core pieces like the relaxed 5-Pocket Denim Pant, an updated Denim Trucker Jacket, and a Micro Logo Lightweight Jacket, which can be paired with matching hats.
To keep your must-have essentials close by, leather goods including the Large Leather Pouch, Bi-Fold Wallet, and Passport Wallet will also be available for purchase.
