That’s because Wales Bonner’s version is a like-for-like remake of the OG. The mad ‘Light Yellow’ and ‘Core Black’ color combo makes a comeback here, and the super bouncy Adiprene foam midsole returns, too. The only real difference here is the addition of some sweet new logos on the tongue and insole. And because Wales Bonner is a cult menswear brand of the highest order, the revamped pair also features some lovely suede, which wraps around the lacing system and toebox.
The new Adios Neftegna is also packed in a limited edition shoebox that’s been made exclusively for this collab. And it comes with a special dust bag to protect your sneakers, which is always nice to have.
The Wales Bonner x Adidas Adios Neftegna ‘Light Yellow’ is set to drop on September 10 at Wales Bonner, Adidas, the Confirmed app, and select shops globally. A retail price has yet to be announced.
