Wunmi Mosaku spent much of Sinners’ awards-season takeover showing off her baby bump. Now, the baby has officially appeared in British Vogue.
Mosaku, who covers the magazine’s October 2026 issue, brought her children into the accompanying fashion spread, including a particularly sweet shot featuring her 10-week-old son. In the photo, Mosaku beams as she holds the diaper-clad infant against her chest, wearing an oversized red fringed coat and black tights. Her older daughter, dressed in a pink tutu and ballet shoes, peeks out from behind her mother, one leg kicked playfully into the air.
At the time, she said she had decided against continuing to camouflage her changing body throughout Sinners’ awards run.
Looking back now, Mosaku says pregnancy unexpectedly changed her experience with fashion for the better.
Being pregnant resulted in “the most inclusive red carpet run I’d ever had,” she told British Vogue, explaining that designers embraced her body without asking her to compromise. But she also raised a question about what happens once the pregnancy bump disappears.
“I really hope designers remain equally excited about dressing regular curves, not just pregnancy bumps,” Mosaku said. “I’m nervous about what comes next.”
Meanwhile, motherhood is becoming part of Mosaku’s work away from Hollywood. She’s preparing to launch Iyadé, her maternity and nursing line inspired partly by the frustrations she experienced finding clothes after having her first child. The name translates from Yoruba as “mother has arrived.”
