The kings have been crowned, and VERDY is celebrating with an exclusive run of t-shirts.

On Saturday (June 13) the New York Knicks clinched the chip with a final score of 94-90 against the San Antonio Spurs, their first Championship win since 1973. To celebrate history, Knicks fans can get their hands on some commemorative VERDY shirts.

Iconic Japanese graphic artist VERDY brings his distinctive style to the 2026 NBA Finals celebrations, with his iconic character Vick holding the Larry O’Brien trophy. The t-shirt is available to order now in black and white colorways, as seen below. Both colorways will run Knicks fans $60.

The road to here, to say the least, has been a winding one. The Knicks were in the middle of one hell of a winning streak when the Spurs broke their playoffs reign by narrowly coming out on top in Game 3, which boasted a halftime performance from Cardi B and a slew of footage of famous fans—Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Josh Safdie, et al.—jumping to their feet at key moments.

Meanwhile, LASIK was kind enough to share multiple reminders of its troll offer of free eye surgery for refs, who received criticism from fans, not to mention Knicks coach Mike Brown, for some questionable calls during Game 3. The Knicks nonetheless made history with the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history during Game 4, toppling the Spurs despite a 29-point deficit at one point.

With the victory in Game 5, the Knicks have secured their first NBA Finals victory since 1973, and their third championship overall. The last time the Knicks even made it to the NBA Finals was in 1999.

Now it’s all over, although we’ll gladly do it all again next year. Until then, get your VERDY on.
