The latest capsule from Wales Bonner’s ongoing Adidas Originals partnership has arrived, and pieces are available to shop now on Complex.
Grace Wales Bonner has built her reputation on what she calls “cultural luxury”—a design philosophy that pulls from Afro-Atlantic traditions and European craft heritage simultaneously. That tension is what makes her Adidas work feel different from anything else in the sportswear space.
The SS26 drop includes the two versions of the Karintha, in black and white colorways, two iterations of the Gazelle, and a lone Adizero Adios style. Each shoe carries the collaboration’s signature instinct: take an adidas archive silhouette and rebuild it through a lens of material research and cultural specificity.
The collection also boasts an apparel range, including a jersey, track pant, and two variations on a track jacket.
