Even if you didn’t know Connor Storrie’s name last year, you sure do now. The 25-year-old Heated Rivalry star skyrocketed to international fame since the queer hockey romance first premiered on Crave and HBO Max on November 28, 2025. Now, he’s set to make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut exactly three months later.
It’s hard to put into words how famous Storrie and his Heated Rivalry costar Hudson Williams have become since their trip to the cottage, but the fervor has been likened to Beatlemania for a reason. Both actors were met with swarms of fans when they made their late night show debuts January 2026, with Seth Meyers recently revealing he received more personal ticket requests for Storrie’s Late Night taping than “anyone outside of Taylor Swift.”
In fact, it was impossible for fans to score standby tickets for that show, which doesn’t bode well for fans hoping to see his Saturday Night Live debut. Here’s everything we know about his first appearance on the variety show, including the musical guest, possible cameos, and how to watch at home or in person (should tickets be made available to the public, as usual).
When will Connor Storrie host Saturday Night Live?
NBC announced that Connor Storrie will make his hosting debut on February 28, 2026. “I am literally the luckiest person in the world,” the Texas-born actor wrote in an Instagram Story post about the announcement.
Heated Rivalry fans would rightfully argue that the SNL writers are the lucky ones. After all, they will surely have a field day with Storrie, who only had three weeks to learn Russian and master Ilya Rozaov’s accent in three weeks before the series went into production. Certainly, he’ll be able to handle whatever SNL throws at him.
Williams commented on NBC’s Instagram post, writing, “MY BABY BOY ON SNL WHOOOOOO!!!!” Meanwhile, the author of the Heated Rivalry romance novel, Rachel Reid, commented, “Nothing has ever made me happier ❤️.”
Who is the musical guest?
According to the announcement, the folk rock band Mumford & Sons will serve as the musical guest. This will mark the fourth appearance for the band, who are best known for their songs “Little Lion Man,” “I Will Wait,” and “The Cave.”
How to watch Saturday Night Live at home
Saturday Night Live airs live at 11:30pm EST on NBC and can be streamed on Peacock. You can also stream the episode with a DirecTV or FuboTV subscription, both of which offer free trials.
How to get free tickets to Connor Storrie’s Saturday Night Live debut
There are two ways to get free tickets for SNL, according to the NBC website. The first is through their email lottery system, though you are not able to request tickets to a specific show. If you’d like to try your luck, email your full name, email address, and the reason you’d like to attend to [email protected]. You must be 16 years or older to qualify.
