’81 Points’ Nike Kobe 1 and More Releasing This Week

This week, there’s a good mix of lifestyle and performance sneakers releasing.

On the performance front, we get a new colorway of the Nike SB Air Max 95, an all-grey Converse Shai 001, and the ’81 Points’ Nike Kobe 1 returning in Protro form. There are a number of New Balance releases coming this week, including several styles dropping on the Complex Shop. Action Bronson is also debuting his “Cyborg Tears” 1890 collab, while Jordan Brand is bringing back the “Flint Grey” Air Jordan 9.

What You Need to Know: A new iteration of the upgraded Nike SB Air Max 95 drops this week. The latest style features a gradient color scheme, going from grey towards the top half of the upper down to all black on the mudguard and midsole.

What You Need to Know: Several popular New Balance styles are coming to Complex this week. In addition to the 2002R pictured above, the 1906R is also part of the latest New Balance drops coming to Complex.

What You Need to Know: The final colorway of the Converse Shai 001 “Family” pack is an all-grey pair inspired by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s son, Ares. The sneaker will be available on SNKRS, Converse.com, and at select retailers for $130.

What You Need to Know: To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kobe Bryant’s historic 81-point game, Nike is bringing back the Kobe 1 colorway he wore for that game. This latest Protro version has been updated with a smaller carbon shank plate and a full-length Zoom Air unit in the midsole.

What You Need to Know: Action Bronson and New Balance are back with a new sneaker project this week, which introduces the latest 1890 lifestyle model. The first release of the shoe will arrive on Friday on Action Bronson’s website in the “Cyborg Tears” colorway shown above.

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is bringing back the under-the-radar “Flint Grey” Air Jordan 9 this weekend for the first time since 2002. This year’s version is nearly identical to the original, featuring a white leather upper paired with grey nubuck overlays, and french blue accents on the heel.
