What do you get when the star of Stranger Things hosts Saturday Night Live during the height of Heated Rivalry fever? A Harry Potter parody called Heated Wizardry, of course!
While a Harry Potter sketch in the year 2026 might sound a bit uninspired, the connection is obvious. The gag is that HBO Max (or whatever they’re calling themselves now) saw a massive viewership bump with the queer hockey romance, so executives decide to capitalize on that success by “hastily rewriting” their upcoming Harry Potter television series for a hornier audience. Don’t worry, they’ve decided to age-up the characters to 18 and older. “Hogwarts is, like, college now,” the trailer narrator says as Ben Marshall’s Ron Weasley strokes is broom handle.

In Heated Rivalry, rival hockey captains Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) engage in a decade-long situationship-turned-romance while the rest of the world firmly believes they hate each other.
According to fans of the series, the parody missed an obvious opportunity to highlight the very real Harry Potter rivalry between the Chosen One and Draco Malfoy. As one user wrote, “There’s already about 18 thousand fan fics for them to take inspiration from.”
