We’ve said it before: We’re in the midst of the Year of Yeehaw. Suddenly people who’ve never watched CMT a day in their lives have found themselves searching “country concert outfit ideas” and adding cowboy boots to their shopping cart.
As with most things, we can thank Beyoncé, currently in her Cowboy Carter era, for this trend. The singer’s embrace of fringe and bolo ties has hit the mainstream—and it’ll only amplify once the Cowboy Carter tour starts this spring.
She’s not the only sign that country music is having something of a renaissance, though. Lana Del Rey is venturing into the genre for her next album and newer artists like Lainey Wilson, Noah Kahan, and Shaboozey are gaining popularity and Grammy noms with their fresh perspectives.
Once these artists are all on tour, you’ll find yourself wondering how to channel Western vibes without looking too much like an extra on the Yellowstone set. Our advice? Choose a hallmark (like rhinestones, bandanas, or double denim) and then pair it with something unexpected such as an oversized T-shirt dress or a crisp button-down.
We looked to street style for the best country concert outfit ideas, and even shopped the looks for you. Yeehaw.

The ultimate cowgirl uniform, made more interesting with a pair of eye-catching boots. The more distressed the denim shorts—and the more vintage the tee—the better. We love the relaxed slouchy bag as an accessory for the pre-party; however, it may not pass stadium requirements, so consider a crossbody bag as an alternative if so.
