The cold is inescapable this week. Here in New York City, my fiancée and I did our favorite trip to the city beach just after snowfall, freezing and surreal. To warm up, I normally call family down south. Turns out though my parents in Georgia are also seeing snow. Aunts and uncles in Louisiana are seeing snow.
