A collection of Tom Brady’s watches and various pieces of memorabilia just sold for a combined $9 million at an auction.

Per The Athletic, the collection was auctioned at Sotheby’s, New York and saw people from 45 countries take part. Dubbed ‘The GOAT Collection: Watches & Treasures from Tom Brady,’ pieces included game-worn jerseys from his days playing college football at the University of Michigan, and some of his NFL games with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Perhaps the biggest pieces included in the sale, however, are some of the watches he’s owned through the years.

The watches include timepieces from Patek Philippe, Rolex, IWC, and a custom-made Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon, which he wore for Netflix’s Greatest Roast of All Time: The Roast of Tom Brady. The watch that sold for the most was a Rolex Daytona ‘John Player Special’ in yellow gold, which was estimated to sell somewhere between $600,000 to $900,000 but ultimately went for $1.14 million.

The custom-made Audemars, which has Tom Brady’s name written on its dial in diamonds, sold for $720,000.

The average sale price for pieces in the auction was $219,629, with the final combined figure reaching $9,004,800, of which $4.6 million came from the watches. It was originally estimated to fetch $5.2 to $8.9 million overall. 800 people registered to take part in the auction, which also featured his final Michigan Wolverines Jersey.

Other notable items include the t-shirt he wore for the 2000 NFL Combine, a helmet worn during his final Patriots game, and the tracksuit he wore in the ‘DunKings’ Super Bowl commercial, which is autographed by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

“It has been truly gratifying to witness the warm reception from collectors and sports fans over the past few months,” said Sotheby’s Head of Modern Collectibles, Brahm Wachter. “Regardless of their team allegiance, collectors eagerly gathered to admire these cherished mementos from Tom’s iconic career, honoring and respecting the remarkable accomplishments of The GOAT.”
