At Esquire, we love our Oura Rings. It’s not just us. I’ve had countless people approach me in the Hearst office or at parties when they notice that I too have an Oura Ring. It’s a cult, but instead of nefarious activity we commiserate over our lack of quality sleep and praise the stylishness of each other’s wearables. And the best time to join is right now.
For Black Friday, both Amazon and Oura are giving discounts on Gen 3 Oura Rings. This includes the original flat-top Heritage design and the more rounded Horizon. Normally, the entry-level Horizon rings start at $350, but through the long weekend, all Oura Rings on the brand’s website start at $250. The Gold and Rose Gold Horizons are currently $350 each, marked from $500 and $550 respectively.
It’s worth checking both retailers to see where the better deal lies. For example, the Rose Gold ring is marked down even more to $330 on Amazon. Here’s a little advice though, from someone who’s been through the process personally. If this is your first Oura Ring, you’ll want to order directly from them. Instead of making you guess at your size, Oura’s free sizing kit saves you a lot of back and forth. Buy from Amazon and you also need to pick one up for $10. Obviously, free is better.
Of course, if you already know your Oura Ring size and are looking for a replacement, feel free to buy from wherever the best prices are. Just make sure if you buy from Amazon, that you are choosing the correct size. Ok, with precautions out of the way, now you can start shopping.
