A streetwear holy grail is returning with a fresh new take at ComplexCon Las Vegas.
Reese LaFlare’s brand Diva in the USA has teamed up with Diamond Supply Co to breathe new life into an iconic collaboration the latter did with English heavy metal band Iron Maiden in 2006. The new print does away with the Iron Maiden logo, which is now replaced by Diamond in a similar font, but keeps the rest of the print alongside an addition of Diva’s branding.
“Alright let me tell y’all a story about this here ‘Runnin Sh*t’ T-shirt. If you was around during this time in 2006 this some real “IYKYK” type sh*t,” LaFlare wrote on Instagram announcing the rerelease. “If you was around during this time in 2006 this some real ‘IYKYK’ type sh*t. This tee set the early days of Hypebeast , Niketalk and the Streets on fire.”
The original t-shirt, which now goes for hundreds online in the resale market, was something LaFlare owned, as he showed in the carousel of images alongside the post.
“Yooo the original is almost 20 years old and with the honor of @nickydiamonds blessing me and allowing me to involve my brand @divaintheusa with this moment,” he continued. “We bringing this “Still Runnin Shit” T-shirt vintage washed and all to yall along with some crazy slides at @complexcon in Vegas so yall can feel how I felt when this tee dropped !!”
Make sure to pick up your tickets to ComplexCon 2024 in Las Vegas, which goes down November 16-17 and will feature performances from Travis Scott and Playboi Carti, for a chance to get ahold of the t-shirt.
