On the other side, Bailey pledged his allegiance to one of 2024’s sluttiest menswear trends: the three-inch inseam (other short shorts disciples include Paul Mescal, Harry Styles, and Donald Glover). Bailey doubled down on his steamy menswear game, pairing his tiny shorts with a translucent polo, both of which came courtesy of Naples-founded label Giuliva Heritage.
Sure, you might associate shorter inseams with the super casual rugby shorts worn by Mescal and others, but Bailey’s fit shows how you can wear them on the red carpet too. The Giuliva shorts are pleated, high waisted and cuffed, much like a dress trouser. And when you pair them with a leather loafer, rather than a sneaker, you’re set for something slightly more polished.
The Wicked actor finished off the fit with an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional rendered in the watchmaker’s high performance Moonshine Gold. As far as timepieces go, this is a pretty mighty ticker.
