It’s Friday and Jason Vorhees is back. Nike made a pair of Air Force 1s for the masked Friday the 13th character that should be releasing this month in time for Halloween.

The shoes are a premium leather white Air Force 1 with Jason’s signature hockey mask perforated in the toebox.

It’s not the first time Nike has referenced Friday the 13th with a shoe. In 2007 there was an unofficial Jason-themed Nike SB Dunk High that was made in conjunction with the unreleased “Freddy” SB Dunks.

Jason’s mask has also had a spicy history within Nike, as it was used on the Swoosh of Warren Lotas’ bootleg Dunks that sparked a lawsuit in 2020. Nike sued Lotas, and the lawsuit eventually settled.

There’s no release date yet on these “Jason” Air Force 1s, or any indication they are an official collaboration.

Fun fact, the Jason-style goalie mask was first worn in 1959 by Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jacques Plante, who had been hit in the face with a puck during a game (sans mask) and took the ice again, after being stitched up, with one on.
