Get ready for the 2025 Met Gala.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced on Wednesday that the 2025 Met Gala will be co-chaired by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour, with LeBron James serving as honorary chair, Vogue reports.

The Gala will highlight the Costume Institute’s spring 2025 exhibition, titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which is inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.

The exhibition is set to feature garments, paintings, photographs, and more, showcasing the evolution of Black men’s fashion through the lens of dandyism, from the 18th century to the present day.

As noted by Vogue, each of the co-chairs are known for their significant fashion influence. Domingo, 54, who attended his first Met Gala earlier this year, is celebrated for his bold red carpet style. Hamilton, 39, who has been attending since 2015, is noted for transforming Formula One fashion. A$AP Rocky, 36, has been making moves as a global street style icon namely with his Puma collaborations. Pharrell, 51, is making waves in high fashion as the creative director of Louis Vuitton Men’s, and LeBron James, 39, blends sports and style wherever he goes.

Anna Wintour, 74, who has led the Met Gala since 1995, will once again oversee the event when it returns to New York City on May 5, 2025. The official dress code won’t be announced until early next year.

“Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” will be on display from May 6 to Oct. 26, 2025.
