Adidas’ Cornerstone Community program is collaborating with Houston-based sneaker boutique Premium Goods for a car-inspired Campus, pictured here.
According to the duo, this sneaker project references the city’s vibrant car culture with its design. This Premium Goods x Adidas Campus features a cracked leather upper, paying homage to the exteriors of the cars found around the city. Additional car-inspired details on the shoe include a hidden pocket in the tongue representing a glove compartment and velcro patches.
Aside from just the sneaker project, Premium Goods and Adidas Cornerstone Community are putting together a community event on Oct. 19 at The Asylum Car Garage, where attendees will have the first chance to buy the sneaker.
The sneaker will officially launch on Oct. 24 at Premiumgoods.com and in-store for $130, with a percentage of the sales benefiting Dekaney High School’s Auto Tech program.
