Jay-Z, certainly no stranger to headlineable timepieces, is at it again.
This time around, Jay has been spotted wearing the new Bugatti Tourbillon from the jewelry-mastering folks at Jacob & Co. In fact, Jacob Arabo, founder and creative director of the oft-referenced brand, said over the weekend that the Roc Nation founder is “the first to own” this particular wrist accessory, which is billed as being made with “those who dare to dream” in mind.
Arabo noted that the price tag on the piece is a mere $340,000 when shouting out the appearance of his “dear friend” at the latest iteration of Fanatics Fest in New York City, as seen below.
Designed to mimic the architecture behind Bugatti sports cars, specifically its latest model, the Bugatti Tourbillon in Black Titanium is the newest entry in an already fruitful partnership that first began back in 2019. This particular watch, per Arabo, stands as the “most advanced timepiece” yet. The Bugatti Tourbillon boasts a case that carries the same shape as the Bugatti car of the same name, not to mention additional overlapping design touches intended to call to mind the vehicle’s tinted windows and V16 engine block.
The limited-edition release will see just 150 watches being made, per Jacob & Co. Get a closer look at the piece below.
As previously reported, this year’s Fanatics Fest saw Jay’s iconic 40/40 Club reimagined for an exclusive lounge experience for 2024 attendees. The club is expected to open a new permanent location in 2025.
