As expected, more Adidas AE 1 Low releases are on the horizon. Next up for Anthony Edwards’ signature shoe is this “Mural” colorway arriving next week.
Last year, the City of Atlanta officially proclaimed August 5 as Anthony Edwards Day, which is the same day as Edwards’ birthday. In addition to the announcement, a special mural featuring Edwards’ and his late mother and grandmother was also unveiled in his hometown of Oakland City, Atlanta. Per Adidas, this latest iteration pays tribute to the mural and both Edwards’ mother and grandmother.
The “Mural” AE 1 Low sports a simple black and coral color scheme offset by an orange Trefoil logo appearing on the heel counter. This colorway was also the version that appeared in the Adidas AE 1 ad back in April when the low-top silhouette was unveiled for the first time.
Readers will be able to cop this “Mural” AE 1 Low starting on Aug. 5 via the Adidas app as well as at Foot Locker and Adidas stores. The shoe retails for $110.
