Whoever claimed we shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day clearly didn’t know about winter-white outfits. In any season, a monochromatic ’fit is the easiest way to look polished and styled with intention. But in cold weather, there is something extra-special about dressing to match all that snow around you. This applies to all situations too: An all-white outfit made up of sweatpants and sneakers is an effortlessly cool (and comfortable) way to run errands, while an ivory-colored suit will take power dressing to a whole new level.
Still, as simple as these monochrome looks may be, there is skill required when it comes to winter-white outfits. You can’t just put on head-to-toe white without consideration, otherwise the overall effect may fall flat. Luckily, we can look to street style for inspiration. The winter-white outfit ideas, below, may look impossibly chic, but they’re not impossible to put together.
