It was a jam-packed final few days at Paris Fashion Week, highlighted by Rick Owens’s epic 200-model extravaganza on Friday, Jonathan Anderson’s latest zeitgeist-capturing Loewe show on Saturday afternoon, and Dries Van Noten’s emotional curtain call later that evening. There’s nothing quite like throwing on an easy, breezy button-up shirt to instantly feel more locked-in and put-together. And in Paris, folks were taking the familiar staple in brave new directions, embracing all manner of pleats, ruffles, prints, and embroidery.
