There are no hard dates assigned to the beginning and end of Sweater Weather—or, for that matter, sweaters on sale weather—but we’re unambiguously in the midst of it right now. In fact, not only do those of us on the East Coast find ourselves in peak sweater season, we’re also rapidly approaching peak sale season, which is incredible news for anyone in desperate need of a new knit or three.
And we do mean everyone, because right now basically every sweater you might’ve sweated this past fall is discounted, at least by a few dollars. That means all those kitten-soft cashmere crewnecks, retro-heartthrob V-necks, and too-loud-to-justify-at-full-price statement knits are finally priced to move, just in time to give ol’ Jack Frost the finger.
