Straight off the runway, shield sunglasses have been dominating street style, and according to Casper, “They work well because oval faces can handle bold, dramatic shapes.” This pair in particular, she says, reminds her of a late-’80s spring ski season. “I would naturally pair them with a top that has a higher neckline, like a funnel-neck jacket or a backless halter.”
As someone from the South, I always worry I don’t give off enough edge, but the second I put these on, I morph into someone who mentally is dodging paparazzi and hasn’t smiled in public since 2014.
