Kid Cudi Walked Off Stage At A Festival After Being Hit With Bottles

“Kid Cudi doesn’t deserve this. Smh.”

For context, Cudi wasn’t originally supposed to headline the Miami festival — Kanye West was, but pulled out just a few days before. “We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We spent months working with him and his team on the performance,” the festival co-founders told Variety last Sunday.

Ye and Cudi themselves have had somewhat of a contentious relationship in recent months. In an Instagram post back in February, Ye said Cudi wouldn’t be on Donda 2 as he was friends with Pete Davidson — to which Cudi replied, “Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u fuckin dinosaur hahahaha.” Cudi later emphasized on Twitter amid the release of Pusha T’s track “Rock N Roll,” “I am not cool w that man.”

Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha. I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye -Scott

“I will walk off this stage if y’all throw one more fucking thing up here,” Cudi said during the fourth song of his set, “REVOFEV.”

“You are ruining [it] for everybody. I will fucking leave,” he added. Another water bottle was thrown, leading him to walk off the stage as people started to boo.

While Cudi has yet to comment on the situation, Rolling Loud tweeted, “Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone. We love you, Cudi.”

Rolling Loud is a family. Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone.

We love you, Cudi. Please take care of each other and let’s have an amazing day 2!

After all that, Ye did end up making a Rolling Loud appearance during Lil Durk’s set. He even performed the Life of Pablo track “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” which includes vocals from Cudi.

Rolling Loud was further noteworthy as it appeared to be Travis Scott’s first festival appearance since the Astroworld fatalities — making a guest appearance in Future’s set.

We’ll keep you posted if Cudi comments on the situation.

These “Barbie” Cast Members Attended A Pride Parade On A Perfectly Pink Float

Barbie Cast Members Attend West Hollywood Pride

If there’s one place Barbie is loved, it’s at a pride parade.

On Sunday, West Hollywood held its annual Pride Parade, and it was a star-studded affair.

This included several honorees, like Melissa McCarthy who received the Ally Icon award.

Niecy Nash-Betts (on the right) and her wife Jessica Betts were named Trailblazer Icons.

Laith Ashley, who plays Taylor Swift’s love interest in the “Lavender Haze” music video, was honored with the Breakthrough Icon award.

Finally, RuPaul’s Drag Race was given the Drag Icon Award, and numerous queens who’ve competed on the show appeared on floats throughout the parade, including Rock M. Sakura and Gottmik.

Other celebrities in attendance included Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke.

Selling Sunset alum Christine Quinn came to celebrate, too.

However, two of the most notable attendees were Barbie costars who adorned a perfectly electric pink float for the film.

Alexandra plays one of the many Barbies. Her tagline is, “This Barbie is a celebrated author.”

Meanwhile, Scott plays a Ken. His tagline is, “You guessed it. He’s a Ken.”

While they might have supporting roles in the film, they were front and center on the Barbie float, celebrating all things love. Of course, they both wore pink.

Alexandra was appropriately dressed in a pink two-piece look with color-coordinating earrings and shoes.

Scott opted for lighter shades of the film’s signature color but still wore a pink printed button-down and pink shorts.

If a Barbie float at a Pride parade isn’t reason enough to see the film when it comes out July 21, then I don’t know what is.

In the wise words of another gay icon Jennifer Coolidge in the film Single All the Way, “The gays just know how to do stuff.”

Happy Pride! Looking for more ways to get involved? Check out all of BuzzFeed’s posts celebrating Pride 2023.
