In the spirit of cultural celebration and creativity, Portland-based footwear broen KEEN has released a new capsule just in time for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Embracing the Year Of The Dragon, the collection reimagines two of the label’s most iconic silhouettes, the Jasper and UNKEEN, with a vibrant, cultural twist. Adorned with unique, mythical embroidery, the new line is rendered in a mix of five traditional colours—blue, red, yellow, black and white—which reflect the fundamental elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

Similarly, the dragon holds profound significance as a revered animal symbolising ancestral spirit and the pursuit of progress, and can be found delicately embroidered on the tongue of the shoe. What’s more, the Year Of The Dragon collection showcases a fusion of cultural heritage and contemporary design, paying homage to the legacy of Chinese symbolism and global heritage.

You can cop the KEEN ‘Year Of The Dragon’ collection now at selected stores, including The Common Wanderer and Urban Industry.
