Hailey Bieber, the patron saint of nails, has finally given us the opportunity to copy her manicure without working harder than usual. For once, the originator of the glazed donut nail trend has taken pity on us, forgoing an impossible design or finish that involves applying at least three types of polish.
On January 31, while out to dinner with Justin Bieber in the Upper East Side, the model wore an all-black ensemble that’s only touch of sweetness came from the baby pink tone of her nails—and, perhaps, her strawberry makeup technique. Even her lips matched her outfit’s bold aesthetic, likely achieved with one of the shades from her new Rhode lip contour sticks. While we insist her overall look is giving Mob Wife meets The Matrix, her manicure offers a glimpse of her softer side.
Even so, while the color of Hailey Bieber’s nails added a delicate touch to her look, the length and shape were just as emphatic as the rest of her outfit. Let’s take a closer look:
- Color: Baby pink bordering on the Barbie shade we all know so well.
- Finish: It is not completely matte, but we do not see traces of glitter or chrome, which is in an exercise in restraint we rarely see from Bieber.
- Shape: Totally oval, with narrowly filed sides and a rounded tip.
- Length: Very pronounced, therefore not suitable for those looking for a natural or discreet look.
- Technique: Very simple, as you don’t need to polish with powder or apply any special top coat. A couple of coats of the color will suffice. Didn’t we tell you they were easy to copy?
- Advantages: They are definitely perfect for making your fingers look longer. They also adapt well to any situation, from the office to dinner with friends.
