Drake is upgrading his private jet with ‘Air Drake 2,’ and it features a graphic that plays into the rapper’s reputation as a ladies man.
The Canadian artist is giving his private Boeing 767 a complete overhaul from the original iteration of ‘Air Drake,’ which he revealed back in 2019. In a post originally shared to his Instagram, seen below, Drizzy offered a preview of the ‘Air Drake 2’ redesign, which was conceived by the late Virgil Abloh. The exterior is wrapped with a design that features blue skies and plenty of clouds, not all that dissimilar to the cover of his 2013 album Nothing Was the Same.
Perhaps most importantly, however, it features a graphic on the bottom of the jet that reads, “Chances are she’s on board.” It’s unclear if Drake is planning to revamp the interior of the plane, too.
In a separate post on his Instagram stories, as seen below, Drake showed off a 3D-render of the plane’s design while listening to Yeat.
Drake unveiled the first design for his private jet in 2019. “No rental, no timeshare,” Drake said in a video showing it off. He said that he partnered with Canadian company Cargojet on the project. “Supporting home grown businesses has always been a top priority of mine, so when an opportunity came up to get involved with a great Canadian company I was honored to do so,” he explained.
While Drake is clearly very happy with his private jet, it was the target of Rick Ross’ ire earlier this year amid their ongoing feud.
