While the 2025 Grammys red carpet is bound to be a hot bed of meticulously styled bobs and covetable dresses, the most popular trend among celebrities has already been declared.

Prior to this year’s ceremony, the Recording Academy announced plans to raise funds for those effected by the California wildfires, which killed 29 people and destroyed thousands of homes over the course of 24 days. On February 2, The Grammys released more insight into the MusiCares Foundation, as well as their partnerships with charity organizations like Direct Relief, the California Community Foundation, and the Pasadena Community Foundation.

“This year’s GRAMMY Awards will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours,” The Recording Academy declared in a statement obtained by Glamour. “In times of crisis, such as natural disasters or other emergencies, we can show music’s power to unite and uplift, and support the Los Angeles relief efforts in meaningful ways.”

Part of those efforts involves little blue pins will be worn by this year’s nominees. According to the Recording Academy, the blue heart and white music note design “symbolizes the massive support being organized by the Recording Academy and our partners to help communities devastated by the Southern California wildfires.”

Of course, raising awareness is just one important aspect of the fundraiser. Since launching the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort To Support Music Professionals in January, the Recording Academy claims to have distributed “more than $4 million in emergency aid to nearly 3,000 music professionals affected by the wildfires.”

The Recording Academy is hopeful they can raise even more funds throughout the telecast, during which viewers, attendees, and corporate sponsors will be encouraged to donate to the MusiCares Fire Relief Fund to benefit even more members of the Los Angeles community.

The Grammys’ official red carpet coverage will begin streaming at 6 pm EST on their website, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook accounts. Meanwhile, CBS and E! will begin their coverage at 7 pm EST. The 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony will begin airing on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 pm EST.
