Beyoncé skipped the 2025 Grammys red carpet, but she did arrive in time to accept her historic win for best country album—making her the first Black woman artist to do so. And, needless to say, she looked incredible.

Bey wore a figure-hugging beaded gold gown, with a bandana-inspired paisley print lending the ensemble a Western touch. The gown featured a keyhole cutout at the bust, with an oversized pearl pendant, as well as matching, over-the-elbow gloves. Beyoncé didn’t wear a necklace, but she did add a pair of statement pendant earrings.

When Taylor Swift, who was presenting the best country album award, announced her name, Beyoncé was visibly taken aback. “Wow, I really was not expecting this,” she said on stage. “Wow.”

Beyoncé, who is currently the most-decorated artist in Grammys history with 34 wins (including one she picked up before the ceremony this evening, and this latest award), is also the most-nominated artist tonight with 11 nominations. She’s up for album of the year and best country album for Cowboy Carter, which she released in March 2024. Several songs from the album are also nominated, including “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which is nominated for record of the year and song of the year, and “Bodyguard,” which is nominated for best pop solo performance, and “16 Carriages,” which is nominated for best country solo performance.
