Tom Hardy is a real-deal sneakerhead. He owns the Union LA x Air Jordan 4. He has the Off-White x Air Jordan 5. And yesterday, on his way to the world premiere of Venom: The Last Dance in New York City, he pulled the Supreme x Air Jordan 5 out of the vault. Yeah, he’s just showing off now.

First released in 2015, Supreme’s take on the Air Jordan 5 is still considered by many to be one of the holiest grails of the last decade. Launched alongside the ‘Black’ and the ‘White,’ Hardy’s ‘Desert Camo’ colorway is widely celebrated as the best of the bunch.

Covered in a classic camouflage, this sneaker is fitted with an oversized reflective tongue, and it rests on top of a blacked-out Nike Air midsole featuring graphics inspired by World War II fighter jets. A toggle switch lacing system ties everything together, with the number “94”—a nod to the year Supreme was founded—embroidered along the heel.

This is a true sneaker guy’s sneaker—so rare and expensive that Hardy couldn’t bring himself to remove the tags. The original Supreme x Air Jordan keychain was still hanging about, as was the gray zip-tie from the resale store he bought them from.

Does it look a little goofy? Sure. But it’s a yet further proof that Hardy takes his kicks as seriously as just about anybody in Hollywood. Watch your back, Ben Affleck—Tom Hardy is coming for your sneaker crown.
